Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Join our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community and learn from a number of Carlson Gracie Team instructors in the worlds fastest growing combat sport.

Our beginners classes welcome all students, including experienced students looking to slow things down and go back to basics with no sparring.

All other classes are mixed levels with sparring. But sparring is only available to regulars or seasoned grapplers.

NoGi Grappling

NoGi grappling is similar to BJJ with a slightly different rule set and training attire. We suggest you train in the Gi before training NoGi if you're new to the sport.

This style of grappling is commonly trained in shorts and a t-shirt, for MMA or submission grappling events.

Our classes are not suitable for beginners, but are mixed ability throughout the week if you can keep up.

Women's Only

Our Women's only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class is open to all beginners or experienced students.

This class is to help you build confidence and improve your fitness amongst your own peers of like minded females.

You will learn the same Jiu-Jistu taught throughout the club. That can be used for self defence or in competition.
